Where we are today:
5,000 salons using Water Saver: a water efficient showerhead launched by L’Oréal Professionnel that enables salons to save up to 69% water savings*.
100% of our products produced in Europe come from a factory that recycles and reuses 100% of water for industrial purposes.

Use 100% recycled or reused water for industrial purposes in our factories.
Offer water-saving products or technologies to enable consumers in water-stressed markets to meet their hygiene and beauty needs.

Where we are today:
1. Reduce: we have reduced the amount of virgin plastic we use by 41% in since 2019*
2. Reuse: 47% of our plastic* is made from recycled materials

Our 2030 goals:
1. Reduce by 50% in absolute the use of virgin plastic for product packaging compared to 2019.
2. Source 50% of all materials used in product packaging either from recycled or biobased sources.
3. Reduce the packaging intensity of our products by 20% compared to 2019.

We manufacture our products with renewable energy.
We have reached 100% renewable energy use on our owned & operated factories.
Where we are today:
1. All L’Oréal Professionnel products manufactured in L’Oréal operated sites have reached 100% renewable energy use.
2. The AirLight Pro hair dryer uses 19%* less energy.
*Instrumental test, AirLight Pro vs. most sold premium hair dryer in Europe (> 150€).
Our 2030 goal:
1. Reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 57 % compared to 2019.
2. Reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, upstream transportation and distribution and business travel by 28% compared to 2019.
